I CAN’T BELIEVE I’VE GOT THE BLUES

I feel the morning breeze upon my face

The birds are singing in the trees

There’s not a cloud in the sky above

The grass is particularly green

Why can’t I seem to find

My wonderwall? My peace of mind?

I’ve got a 401 and an IRA

And a car that gets me round

I hang with my mates in altered states

But my feet are firmly on the ground

So why can’t I seem to find

My wonderwall? My peace of mind?

Early morning, late in the evening

I cannot shake this feeling

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

It might as well be Bluesday

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

How can it rain when the sun is shining?

How can it be dark when the sun is out?

I keep on looking at the calendar

Maybe things will change in November

So why can’t I seem to find

My wonderwall? My peace of mind?

Early morning, late in the evening

I cannot shake this feeling

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

It might as well be Bluesday

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

So why can’t I seem to find

My wonderwall? My peace of mind?

Early morning, late in the evening

I cannot shake this feeling

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

It might as well be Bluesday

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues

La, Las

I can’t believe I’ve got the blues
