ORDINARY LARRY
Ordinary Larry used to be one of the gang
He was up for anything and everything all the time
Ordinary Larry shut down every bar in town
A greasy spoon at 3am, the hair of the dog at dawn
He always saw every cool band that played
He knew the doormen and partied backstage
Ordinary Larry – was one of a kind
But we don’t see old Lar’ round anymore
No one answers when we knock his door
The blinds are drawn, there’s no light on
I’m not sure I’d still know his face
And now he can’t even remember the last time when he had fun
His wardrobe’s full of clothes from 1991
He can’t be bothered with going outside
9pm and it’s off to bed with help from his meds
Ordinary Larry used to drive the sweetest ride
A ’64 with suicide doors, a 460 that roared
Ordinary Larry used to drive the ladies mad
He had the looks, he had the charm, he was living large
He was the guy who always would win
We thought for sure he would never give in
Ordinary Larry – he was the man
But we don’t see old Lar’ round anymore
No one answers when we knock his door
The blinds are drawn, there’s no light on
I’m not sure I’d still know his face
And now he can’t even remember the last time when he had fun
His wardrobe’s full of clothes from 1991
He can’t be bothered with going outside
9pm and it’s off to bed with help from his meds
Ordinary Larry, you think you’re coming for me
Ordinary Larry, you think you’re coming for me
Ordinary Larry, you think you’re coming for me
Ordinary Larry, you think you’re coming for, you think you’re coming for
When you coming for me?
